Specifications
Operation
•
Place air mover on a level and stable surface. The SS-1100 can be placed flat on the surface with or without use
of the attached motor stand or placed horizontally on the surface.
•
Plug unit into a Ground-Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) electrical outlet rated for at least 115/120 VAC, 60 HZ 15
amps. This product must be grounded to reduce the risk of electrical shock. Consult with a qualified electrician
if you are in doubt whether an outlet is grounded and protected by a GFCI.

Use the ON/OFF switch to operate the unit.
•
Use carpet clamp proved for securing edge of carpet during drying.
Auxiliary Outlet
The unit comes with a built-in GFCI auxiliary outlet, allowing a daisy chain of up to six additional SS-1100 air mowers.
The total amperage of all devices plugged into the receptacle must not exceed 12 amps.
The GFCI protects the user from potential electrical shocks. Should it detect a sudden ground-fault, the GFCI will
interrupt the current and shut off the unit. It will trip when a short circuit or overload occurs. If the GFCI trips,
unplug the unit, and look for potential hazards such as standing water, a damaged cord or having too many devic

es plugged into the auxiliary outlet. Once the problem is corrected, plug the unit back in, push the ‘Reset” button
located on the GFCI faceplate, and re-start the unit. If the unit does not re-start, please refer to the trouble shooting
section of this manual. This product MUST BE GROUNDED.
Hour-Meter
This unit comes with a hour-meter that records the total time unit is running.
Power Cord Warning
Never operate a unit with a damaged power cord as this may lead to electrical or fire hazards. Never unplug the
unit by pulling the power cord. Grasp the plug firmly and pull straight out Precaution must be used to not damage
the cord in any way. Keep cords away from all water and heated surfaces. Inspect cord before every use. Replace
any cord that shows any damage.
