Electric motor

Electric motor, observe the operating Instructions

4.5.9.1

BL ISO E motor

The brushless BL ISO E motor is available as an electric motor. 

Brushless motors are designed as three-phase motors (without carbon 

brushes). They are characterized by their precise controllability and 

durability.
The green coded instrument hose (GN) must be used for the BL ISO E 

motors.

The BL ISO E motor is equipped with an ISO coupling. T1 LINE and 

handpieces can thus be used without an adapter.
With SIM MODULAR the speed range of the BL ISO E motor is 1,200 to 

40,000 rpm.
The motor can be used for integrated torque control.
The motor can be sterilized.

Reference to apex measurement via the instrument

For information on performing apex measurement using the instrument, 

refer to the section “Preparing to use the ApexLocator”.

IMPORTANT

Also observe the operating instructions for the motor.

WARNING

The magnetic field of the electric motor is strengthened when the motor 

is switched on.
This magnetic field can affect any cardiac pacemaker located nearby.
