Shifting direction of the exposed image area
The menus contain a pictographic representation of the expected
adjustment image to help you perform software-based adjustment and
calibration. The shifting direction indicated by the plus and minus signs
located below and next to the pictograph refers to shifting of the exposed
image section in the direction of the stationary auxiliary lines (see the
example).
Example:
In the example, the exposed image section is offset to the left by the value
Sx and upward by the value Sy. In order to shift the image field so that it
comes to lie inside the auxiliary lines, you must enter …
● Sx (shift to the right) with a positive sign
● Sy (shift downward) with a negative sign
in the text boxes on the tab.
Generally speaking, the exposed image area must always be shifted
toward the auxiliary lines:
● Shift to the right or upward: Enter the value (measured offset from the
auxiliary line) with a positive sign.
● Shift to the left or downward: Enter the value (measured offset from
the auxiliary line) with a negative sign.
