Depending on the sensor selected, you will find different parameters that will help you
configure it. The appearance of the parameters reflect the currently selected sensor type.
Sensor name
By default, the name of the selected sensor/measurement will come up. You can
change the name of the sensor/measurement to help you identify in the
Select Sensors
page.
Update Rate
This parameter is used to select how often the TV80 can expect to receive information
from the sensor. A faster update rate gives you information more often, but will
decrease the battery life. The value you choose here must comply to the value
programmed into the sensor. If these do not match, the communication between the
TV80 and the sensor will not work.
Receiver
Select the receiver the selected sensor is connected to. The options will vary depending
on your configuration the I/O Setup page.
Label
By default, the TV80 will assign a label to every sensor depending on its measurement
and/or location. You can change the name of the sensor/measurement to help you
identify in the
Select Sensors
page.
Function
Several catch monitoring sensors can provide more than one reading. This setting
shows the measurement that is expected from the selected sensor.
Channel
This is the communication channel used between the catch monitoring sensor and the
TV80. The channel number parameter is vital.The channel you choose must comply
with the channel programmed into the catch monitoring sensor.
Offset
This setting defines the offset value for catch monitoring sensors that measure spread
and depth. The offset value for the spread sensor must be entered manually based on
your knowledge about the physical locations of the sensors and the properties of
the gear.
