Procedure
1 Open the
Setup
menu.
2 On the
Setup
menu, select
Installation
.
Observe that the
Installation
dialog box opens.
3 At the bottom of the
Sensor list
page, select
Add New Sensor
.
The
Add New Sensor
dialog box opens.
4 Select
Yes
.
5 In the
PX Sensor Configurator
dialog box, select communication port and sensor type,
then select
Connect
.
The
PX MultiSensor mk2 Configurator
dialog box opens.
6 Select
Unlock measurements
.
The
Unlock measurements
dialog box opens.
7 Send the sensor’s PCB serial number to your local dealer.
Your local dealer will send you a license key string.
8 Enter the license key and select
Enter
.
9 Select
Close
to close the dialog box.
Result
The
PX MultiSensor mk2 Configurator
dialog box shows as many ”unlocked” measurements
as your license allowed, with a maximum of three.

Modifying the parameters of a sensor
When you select
Modify Sensor
you can change its location on the gear, its name, its
communication channel or its main configuration parameters.
Prerequisites
If a sensor was added to the system with the programming cable, you will only be able to
modify its parameters when connected to the cable. If a sensor was added to the system
without the programming cable, you will be able to modify its parameters even if it is
not connected to the cable.
