Temporarily removing a sensor from the presentation
The
Sensor List
page presents a table with all the catch monitoring sensors that have been
added to the system. In the
Sensor List
page you can choose a sensor and temporarily disable
it from the current presentation.
Prerequisites
The relevant catch monitoring sensors were attached to the fishing gear before it was
deployed.
You have selected the type of gear you wish to use. The serial and/or Ethernet ports have
been defined and configured in order to allow for communication with external hardware.
Context
Different catch monitoring sensor types may be used with the TV80. Depending on the type
of fisheries or on the current fishing scenario, you may not need to use all the sensors you
have previously configured. With
On Gear
you can decide if you want to have the data from
that sensor presented on your current presentation.
Procedure
1 On the
Setup
menu, select
Installation
.
Observe that the
Installation
dialog box opens.
2 In the
Sensor list
page, observe the sensor you want to temporarily remove from your
presentation.
3 Observe the
On Gear
check box at the right of the list.
A check mark in
On Gear
indicates that the data from that sensor is being presented.
When there is no check mark in
On Gear
, no data from the sensor is being presented.
4 Select
On Gear
to disable the check mark.
Result
Your presentation will not show the information from the sensors that do not have a check
mark on the
On Gear
check box.
