INTRODUCTION
This SRP9180 P25 Conventional/Trunked Portable Radio is a
software-defined radio with many customisable parameters to
suit individual requirements.
Menus and Key Functions can be configured to customer
requirements. This card shows some typical assignments

IMPORTANT SAFETY WARNINGS
Radios marked with IECEx approval are suitable for use in certain
hazardous areas.
Refer to the label on the radio for the IECEx compliance level.
The following MUST be observed to maintain the IECEx protection
rating:
Use only approved SIMOCO battery, part number PAR-9180BATL2i or PAR-
9180BATL3i.
Battery connection, disconnection, and charging must only be carried out in
non-hazardous areas.
Metal belt clips must
NOT
be used in hazardous areas.
When the radio is used in a hazardous area either the SRP9180 Accessory
Cover Assy (6102 350 1446) or an approved Simoco IECEx accessory must
be fitted.
Approved accessories may only be connected and disconnected outside the
hazardous area.
Refer to Operating Instructions for further IECEx warnings, and lists of
approved accessories.
GENERAL WARNINGS:
Do NOT operate the radio if the antenna has become disconnected or
damaged.
Obey the 'Turn Off Two-way Radios' signs where these are posted, e.g. on a
petrol station forecourt.
Do NOT operate your portable whilst driving a vehicle.
