5 WARNINGS
5.1. RADIO FREQUENCY RADIATION

RADIO FREQUENCY (RF) RADIATION. A RF RADIATION HAZARD EXISTS IN
THIS EQUIPMENT. TO AVOID RF INJURY, DO NOT TOUCH THE ANTENNA
WHEN THE TRANSMITTER IS IN USE. DO NOT OPERATE TRANSMITTER WITH
ANTENNA DISCONNECTED

5.2. Radio Frequency Interference
Radio frequency emissions from electronic equipment can negatively affect the opera-
tion of other electronic equipment, causing them to malfunction. Although MWRSM is
designed, tested and manufactured to comply with regulations governing radio
frequency emission in countries such as the United States, Canada, the European
Union, and Japan, the wireless transmitters and electrical circuits in the MWRSM may
cause interference in other electronic equipment. Therefore, please take the following
precautions:
i. Aircraft: Use of MWRSM may be prohibited while travelling in aircraft.
ii. Vehicles: radio frequency emissions from MWRSM may affect electronic
systems in motor vehicles. Check with the manufacturer or its
representative regarding your vehicle.
iii. Pacemakers: The Health Industry Manufacturers Association recommends
that a mini- mum separation of 15 cm (6 inches) be maintained between a
handheld wireless phone and a pacemaker to avoid potential interference
with the pacemaker.
