5.7 Adjusting the burner at various installation altitudes
The appliance leaves the factory calibrated for operating at sea level.

When the thermal unit is installed at altitudes up to maximum 1,300 m.a.s.l., due to the lower air density, the factory adjustments for
the burner must be modified as follows:
– keep the nozzle mounted in the factory
– do not vary the position of the combustion head
– gradually reduce the pump pressure to reduce the fuel flow rate
– adjust the air shutter by taking the following readings:
- CO
2
(%)
- CO (ppm)
- NOx (ppm)
- Bacharach index
- flue gas temperature.
