6.8 Datalogging (de-)activation.

If required, the Manager can log data regarding the operation of the bar.
To (de)activate this data logging, the parameter

Datalogging

has to be changed.

For detailed information on data logging, please refer to the manual Manager IQ Easy

6.9 Clean bar warning level setup (expert mode)

The IQ Easy Ex bar should after calibration (6.3) continuously monitor the effectiveness of the
bar. Should the effectiveness fall below the set

Clean bar warning

level due to contamination,

buildup or other causes, a warning (LED on the bar blinking red / green and a orange icon will
be generated on the Manager).
By default, this level is set to 50 %, but it can be set to a different value in specific cases

7 Checking the Functionality

7.1 Checking neutralization

To measure the efficiency of the anti-static bar, a field strength meter can be used, which is
suitable for use in hazardous areas.
Connect the field strength meter with the grounding, keep a minimum distance of 30 cm from
the anti-static bar.
Measure the static charge of the material before and after it has passed the anti-static bar.
The measured charge must have minimized after the material has passed the anti-static bar.

7.2 Checking functionalities via the LED’s

The color of the status-LED’s of the anti-static bar and Ex Status Module show the status of the
anti-static bar. The Ex-Status Module shows only that the fuse is functioning and that voltage is
supplied to the bar = green Blinking, regardless if the bar is in use or on standby.
