Sling Application:
Open the hook and loop fastening waist support and
place the sling down the back of the patient ensuring
that the sling label is facing outwards.
If a buckle is fitted, secure the buckle and tighten.
Secure the hook and loop waistband around the
patient’s rib cage.
Ensure the patient’s arms are outside the sling. Take the
leg sections of the sling and place them down the sides
of the patient.

Glide the left leg support under the patient’s left thigh
and bring up between the legs.

Repeat for the right leg support ensuring that the leg
sections are not twisted.
