To display the Preferences dialogue box, use the

Adjustable Parameters 

Filtering:  
Used to average measurements before display. When fil-
tering is switched off, the integration time for measure-
ments is 0.5 seconds. 

 

Resolution:  
Used to adjust the resolution of the measurements when 
displayed.  
There are three possible choices: 

•

 

HIGH: Displays measurements with the highest possible resolution. 

•

 

AVERAGE: Displays one digit fewer compared with the HIGH resolution mode. 

•

 

LOW: Displays two digits fewer compared with the HIGH resolution mode. 

 

Temperature units: 
Used to select the temperature units, either °C, °F or K,  for measurements and simulation. 

 

Lighting: 
Used to set the on time of the lighting before it is switched off to save the batteries.  

 

Beep keys: 
Used to switch on or off the transmission of an audible signal when pressing keys on the key-
board. 

 

Language: 
Used to select the language of the display in menus, dialogue boxes and on-line help.
