12. CONNECTING TO THE HOST DEVICE

The printer supports the USB and Bluetooth communication or Wireless LAN communication.

Select Bluetooth model or Wireless model depending on the communication method.

•

Bluetooth model (MP-A40-Bxxxxxx)

: Blu USB

•

Wireless LAN model (MP-A40-Wxxxxxx)

: Wireless LAN + USB

The function setting of the printer differs depending on the communication method. See "MP-A40

SERIES THERMAL PRINTER TECHNICAL REFERENCE" for detail.

An optional USB interface cable is required to perform USB communication.

See Section "20 SPECIFICATION" for details of the interface specifications.

The communication speed may be decreased depending on processing by software as well as print

contents.

The wireless communication should be set to disable where it use is prohibited.

For switching wireless on/off, press POWER Switch 3 times in 3 seconds when the power is on.

The WIRELESS LED lights or blinks when the wireless communication is enabled.

The WIRELESS LED turns off when the wireless communication is disabled.
