Cleaning the deaeration tubes

The following describes cleaning a deaeration tube:

WORKSTEP

ADDITIONAL INFO / IMAGES

Close the sample feed and drain the sampling
system.

Drain the sampling system by pressing the

Drain tank

button (Section 7.1).

The pump may only be oper-

ated dry for a maximum of 60
seconds. Danger of overheating!

Remove the tubes to be cleaned from the
pipe by loosening both screw caps (arrows).

Rinse out the tubes with water. The venting
hoses are rinsed out against the flow direc-
tion. A syringe can prove useful here.

Reinstall the cleaned tubes into the pipe. In
doing so, ensure that the venting hoses are
not kinked.

The system is now ready for operation again.
