SNTP Commands
sntp client
This command enables SNTP client requests for time synchronization from
NTP or SNTP time servers specified with the
sntp server command. Use the
no form to disable SNTP client requests.

Command Usage
◆ The time acquired from time servers is used to record accurate dates and
times for log events. Without SNTP, the switch only records the time
starting from the factory default set at the last bootup (e.g., Dec 31
07:32:04 2014).
◆
This command enables client time requests to time servers specified via
the
sntp server command. It issues time synchronization requests based
on the interval set via the sntp poll command.
