Appendix D Example of using a weighting standard
Suppose we have configured:
Standard 18, DIN 4150-3, with Zeile 1 (selected according to
section 4.2.5).
Threshold level = 20 mm/s.
The standard DIN 4150-3 is described with the graph:

and the weighting depends directly on these lines.
As written in section 4.2.5, the reference frequency range is: <10 Hz. In this
example we study Zeile 1 (Line 1), which for example allows
2.0 times higher velocities at 50 Hz compared to frequencies <10 Hz
2.5 times higher velocities at 100 Hz compared to frequencies <10 Hz
The limits in figure I1 lead to the weighting curves in figures I2 – I4, which
are implemented in the firmware of INFRA C12.
