Consider this
The S50 Sound Level Meter can be used and stored in a
wide range of temperature. However, allow the S50 Sound
Level Meter ample time to adjust to abrupt temperature
changes.
Don’t expose the S50 Sound Level Meter for environmental
conditions worse than IP66. NOTE! The microphone must
not be submersed.
Whenever the S50 Sound Level Meter is shipped, care
should be taken in repackaging it with the original factory
provided packaging.
S50 shall never be subjected for sound pressure levels
above 146 dB. Note that maximum measured sound
pressure level if the S50 is 131 dBA/dBC (sinusoidal)
The operating temperature range is –20 ºC to + 50 ºC.
Wind blowing across the microphone will introduce
additional noise. Use the included windscreen to prevent
undesirable wind noise to be added to the measured signals.
The sensor cables supplied by Sigicom are designed to
work properly with the system. Please don’t use other types
of cables.
