Hardware connection notes:
•
For the Boson 320 camera, the
camera board is available without the J2 external
camera power connector. In this configuration power to the camera is supplied through the SLA-
3000-FPC board.
•
The 3000-OEM can be configured to accept either the digital or the analog output of the Boson
cameras. SightLine recommends using the digital output from the camera to capture IR
temperature and camera video data.
•
The digital video connection is through the SLA-3000-FPC board. Analog video connection is
through an SMA connector on the SLA-3000-AB board.

4000-OEM Boson Camera Bench Setup
The 4000-OEM can be configured to accept either the digital or the analog output of Boson cameras.
SightLine recommends using the digital output from the camera for full dynamic range (absolute
amplitude) image processing and snapshot recording.

The SLA-3000-FPC board can be connected to J6 on the 4000-OEM. Additional camera adapter

The 4000-OEM can also be connected directly to the 640 Boson camera through the RHP-BOSON
VPC TTL interface module. See

SLA-CAB-1504: Connects to J50 on the 4000-OEM board and SLA-PWR-B12V-36W power adapter.

SLA-PWR-B12V-36W (110-250VAC input / 12VDC output): Connects to J50 on the 4000-OEM board.
