Hardware Version

The version used for the description below are:

Q2686: WM0402301-111-30

WMP/SL6087: WM0502301-012-21

SL6087: WM0900906-010-20

2.3.1.2.

Setup

Please check the following setup on your Embedded Module Development Kit to make sure the
XM0110 can be successfully driven through UART2 by the Embedded Module, and the Embedded
Module can be controlled over UART1 by your PC:

UART1 activated:



Q2686: UART1 switch EN1 position



WMP: UART1 switch ON position & XMODEM switch OFF position



SL: UART1 switch ON position & XMODEM switch OFF position

UART2 MUST BE DE-ACTIVATED:



Q2686: UART2 switch GPIO1 position



WMP: UART2 switch OFF position



SL: UART2 switch OFF position

Note:

Presence of SIM card and GSM antenna is not mandatory to use the Location AT commands.

Note:

USB interface can be used instead of UART1.
