CARE AND MAINTENANCE
• The device must not be connected to a power source while it is being cleaned.
• Do not immerse the device, the mains plug or the cable in water or other liquids.
• Do not rinse the device, the mains plug or the cable under running water.
• Do not use any solvents or abrasive cleaning agents.
1. If necessary, wipe the device with a damp cloth and a little mild cleaning agent if required.
2. You can wash the cleaning cloth in the washing machine at 60°C.
STORAGE
• Put the device back into its storage position only once it has completely cooled down and it has
been emptied of water. Allow the device to cool down for at least 30 minutes.
1. Switch off the device and remove the mains plug from the mains socket.
2. Allow the device to cool down for at least 30 minutes.
3. Press the steam release button to completely discharge any remaining steam.
4. Empty the water reservoir completely.
5. Remove all accessories from the device.
6. Store the device in a cool, dry place out of the reach of children or animals.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
Possible cause/solution
The device does not work / The
control lamp does not light up
• The device is not connected to a plug socket. Check whether
the device is connected to a plug socket.
• The device is swiched off. Swith on the device with the on/off
switch.
• The plug socket does not work. Connect the device to a
different plug socket.
The device does not work even
though the control lamp lights
up
• The water reservoir is empty. Fill the water reservoir in the
manner described in the “Putting into Operation” chapter,
“Filling the Water Reservoir” section.
No steam or hardly any steam is
emerging
• The device is not connected to a plug socket.
Check whether the device is connectecl to a plug socket.
• The device is swiched off.
Switch on the device with the on/off switch.
• The steam release button has not been pressed.
Press the steam release button during use.
• The water reservoir is empty.
Fill the water reservoir in the manner described in the “Putting
into Operation” chapter, “Filling the Water Reservoir” section.
