5.9.2 Start the "Mobile radio monitor" function
Switch to the "MOBILE" display mode.
Press the function key long to start the "Mobile radio monitor" function.
•
The buzzer generates a short tone.
•
The LED flashes green.
•
The display shows the "MOBILE" message with antenna symbol , the mobile radio
signal strength and the symbol for the mobile phone standard available at the location:
– = 2G (GSM, GPRS, EGPRS)
– = 3G (UMTS, HSDPA, HSUPA)
– & = 4G (LTE-FDD)
The mobile radio signal strength is updated and displayed every 5 seconds. If the mobile radio signal is too weak,
change your position until you have determined the best possible position for installing the gateway. The duration of
the mobile radio check is limited to 3 min 45 sec. Afterwards the mobile radio check is ended automatically.
5.9.3 Start the "Scan" function
Switch to the "SCAn" display level.
Press the function key long to start the scanning process.

The buzzer generates a short tone.
•
The LED flashes green.
•
The display shows the "SCAn" message with flashing Rx symbol.
•
The remaining sequence of the scanning process then takes place in the same way as
the scanning process described in Section "Manual installation (Auto scan)" .
5.9.4 Start the "Info" function
Switch to the "InFo" display level.
Start the function with a long press on the function key.
•
The buzzer produces a short tone.
•
The display shows the following information in succession:
– Firmware version
– Date of the next connection
– Time of the next connection
You can end the function by pressing the function key for a long time. Alternative: The
function ends automatically after 5 minutes.
5.9.5 Exit the Control menu
Switch to the "EXIT" display level.
Press the function key long to exit the Control menu.
