6.2 Parameter description

Purpose: Automatic initialization of positioner.
Description: The progress bar in the display indicates the initialization progress.
Once the initialization process has successfully completed, a
checkmark will be shown in the display. If an error occurred during
the initialization process, the display shows an error message in
plain text.
Cancel the initialization with . An error symbol along with the
status message "Initialization canceled" will then be shown in the
display. The previous status is restored when cancellation results
from an error or by pressing .

The actuator travel or angle of rotation of the actuator can be set manually. The remaining
parameters are determined automatically like with automatic initialization.
This menu is particularly useful with valves that do not contain endstops or valves with soft
endstops.
"1.2.1 Actuator type"
Factory setting: Linear <= 60 mm (2.36")
Setting options:
 Part-turn

Linear <= 60 mm (2.36")
 Linear > 60 mm (2.36")
Purpose: Setting of appropriate actuator type for which the positioner is to be
initialized.
