6.2 Parameter description

"3.5.2.1 Start position"
Factory setting: 0.0 %
Setting range: 0.0 ... 100.0
Purpose: Specifying the start position of the partial stroke test within the range
0.0% to 100.0%. During the test, the actuator moves from this start
position to the target position (start po stroke magnitude).
"3.5.2.2 Start tolerance"
Factory setting: 2.0 %
Setting range: 0.1 ... 10.0
Purpose: Specifying the start tolerance of the partial stroke test within the range
0.1 to 10.0% relative to the start position.
Description: Example: You have set 50% as the start position and 2% as the start
tolerance. This means that during operation a partial stroke test is only
initiated between an actual position of 48 and 52%.
"3.5.2.3 Stroke amount"
Factory setting: 10.0 %
Setting range: 0.1 ... 100.0
Purpose: Specifying the stroke amount by which the actuator is to be moved out
and back, within a range of 0.1 to 100.0%.
"3.5.2.4 Direction of stroke"
Factory setting: Up
Setting options:
 Up

Down
Purpose: Define the stroke direction for the partial stroke test.
Description:

Up: With Up/Down valves, a valve that is closed by default is
opened by the amount entered in "3.5.2.3 Stroke amount"
(Page 99).

Down: With Up/Down valves, a valve that is open by default is
closed by the amount entered in "3.5.2.3 Stroke amount"
(Page 99).
