Step 4: Setting up the PLC TAG table

We now need to assign TAG names to the I and Q memory addresses that we assigned in
our hardware configuration.

Navigate to the “PLC Tag” list under the “S7-1500” PLC and double-click on it to open the tag
list.

In our sample project, we have assigned TAG names and data types to the I and Q addresses
for the PROFINET modules. The TAG list will be used by the PLC program or Watch table to
read and write data to the SITRANS LT500.
