Overview 

Temperature measurement 

The resistance thermometer can be connected to the transmitter using a 2, 3 or 4-wire 

system. The pin assignments are as follows: 

 

1 x Pt100 (2-wire) 
2-wire connection 

1 x Pt100 (3-wire)  
3-wire connection 

1 x Pt100 (4-wire) 
4-wire connection 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Note 
Jumpers 
You must use jumpers in the case of 2- and 3-wire connections. The jumpers are not 

included in the scope of supply. 
Make the jumpers yourself. We recommend the use of flat metal tabs.  

 

Pt100 sensor element cables 

 

NOTICE 

 

Achievement of IP65 protection 
The cable gland included in the scope of supply is designed for cables with a diameter of 

6 to 12 mm. The IP65 protection is no longer guaranteed if you use cables with other 

diameters.
