6.3.2.2 Blocking the Breaker Failure Protection
The external trip of the breaker failure protection can be blocked for the entire protec-
tion or busbar-selectively
With the external trip of the breaker failure protection blocked, all device-internal pro-
tection functions (central unit, bay unit) remain active. However, there is no trip of the
breaker failure protection inititated, i.e. the breaker failure protection relays configured
in the bay units are not activated. This is useful e.g. during the commissioning phase.
