Description
Store the device in a dry and clean location. Store the device within a temperature range from -25 °C to
+55 °C.
The relative humidity must be at a level where condensed water and ice are prevented from forming.
To avoid premature aging of the electrolytic capacitors, Siemens recommends storing the device within the
limited temperature range of +10 °C to +35 °C.
In case of longer storage periods, Siemens also recommends connecting the device to auxiliary voltage once a
year for 1 to 2 days in order to form the electrolytic capacitors used. This procedure should also be executed
before operating the device.
If the device is to be shipped again, reuse the transport packaging. The storage packing of the individual
devices is not adequate for transport purposes. When using different packaging, make sure that it complies
with the transport requirements according to IEC 60255-21-1 class 2 and IEC 60255-21-2 class 1.
