Sauerstoff ist im Gegensatz zu anderen Gasen stark paramagnetisch. Diese physikalische 

Eigenschaft wird für die Bestimmung der Sauerstoffkonzentration in Gasen genutzt.
Sauerstoffmoleküle bewegen sich in einem inhomogenen Magnetfeld immer in Richtung
