3.1 Software environment
The power generating system model was created in MATLAB/Simulink® using the Simulink
modeling language.
Version of the creation software: MATLAB/Simulink® R2018b
The power generating system model is encapsulated and protected. Parameter changes are
not required in the model itself. All of the configuration settings required are made at the
signal inputs of the protected model.
To simulate several PGUs operating in parallel connected to one power supply grid, several
model instances can be incorporated in the MATLAB/Simulink® expansion Simscape.
3.2 Media and file formats
The model comprises the following files:

Netz_SINAMICS_PCS_Parallel.slx System model with 3 PGUs operating in parallel
The files are provided as standard with the documentation DVD; when requested, these files
can also be electronically provided.
