Parameterization

Target generator mode

Parameter P109 can be used to parameterize target generator mode:

6.13.3

Control

6.13.3.1

Initialization

Setting the INIT_TARGET control bit initializes the target generator and deletes the internal 

target list. New start positions can then be specified (see description below). 
Initialization is also performed when SIMOTION is restarted, or the spreader width is changed 

via parameter P106, or the LEARN_PROFIL_RESET control bit is set.

6.13.3.2

Loading or unloading the ship

The system detects whether a load or an unload operation is required based on the control 

signals concerning the locking state of the spreader (LOCKED_BIT0, LOCKED_BIT1) and the 

spreader position. If the spreader is located on the waterside, for example, and the locking state 

or the control bits associated with it are set, an unloading operation is required.

6.13.3.3

Specifying starting position and target position

Certain initial conditions on the land and watersides must be known to the target generator 

before it can specify positions. These conditions are described below. 

Note
If a limit switch or limit switch range for the trolley has been approached, the approached 

positions are not transferred to the target generator and saved.
