Danger from strong magnetic fields

Occurrence of magnetic fields

Motor components with permanent magnets generate very strong magnetic fields. In the

no-current condition, the magnetic field strength of the motors comes exclusively from

the magnetic fields of components equipped with permanent magnets. Additional

electromagnetic fields occur in operation.

Components with permanent magnets

For the segment motors described in this manual, the permanent magnets are located in

the rotor segments.
