Installing R/H-CPUs

Proceed as follows to install an R/H-CPU:
1.

Install the CPU to the mounting rail.

Only with optional load or system power supply Move the CPU to the load or system

power supply on the left. Ensure that the U-connector is inserted at the system power

supply.

Swivel the CPU in to the rear.

Screw the CPU tight (torque 1.5 Nm).

Uninstalling R/H-CPU

The R/H-CPU is wired.
Proceed as follows to uninstall an R/H-CPU:
1.

Open the front cover.

Switch the CPU into STOP mode.

Turn off the supply voltage.

Pull off the connector for the supply voltage.

Disconnect the cables at the CPU:
–

R-CPU: Disconnect the PROFINET cables.

–

H-CPU: Disconnect the PROFINET cables and fiber-optic cables.

Undo the CPU fixing screw(s).

Pivot the CPU out of the mounting rail.
