4.3 General functions of the WBM
Symbols of the title bar
The symbols in the title bar have the following significance:
Symbol Function
Date and time of the last page update of the WBM in the local time of
the RTU (yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss)
Drop-down list for setting the WBM language
Name of the currently logged in user
Logout of the user
Number of connections to configuration PCs
Execution of the user program is turned off. Program execution is
started by clicking on the text.
Execution of the user program is turned on. Program execution is
stopped by clicking on the text.
Shows that the automatic updating of the WBM user interface is
enabled. The data is called up at 5 second intervals.
Shows that the automatic updating of the WBM user interface is
disabled.
Switches on the automatic updating of the WBM.
Only on pages on which no entries can be made.
Switches off the automatic updating of the WBM.
Only on pages on which no entries can be made.
Updates the current display on WBM pages on which entries can be
made.
During the update a progress bar is visible.
Opens the Internet page of the RTU in the Siemens Industry Online
Portal.

Entering and saving
Confirm all your entries by clicking the "Apply" button. Your settings are then adopted by the
device. With some parameters this can take a few seconds. This is visible thanks to a
progress bar.
