5.2 Parameter assignment of the blocks
Programming the program blocks for the control tasks
Networks
For control tasks of the RTU you can create up to 8 networks for program blocks.
Every network is shown in a tab of the WBM. In the top line of the tab, you can assign a
name to the network (max. 20 characters).
In the second line of the tab, you can enter a comment for this network (max. 64 characters).
When you open the WBM "Network 1" is already created.
Display and configuration of networks and blocks
The blocks are represented graphically.

After creating a program block, you can select the block type from the drop-down list of the
block name (as shown: "Pulse relay").
At the top of the block, you can enter an optional comment for the block (max. 64
characters).
The input parameters on the left and the output parameters on the right are assigned using
the drop-down lists from the previously configured tags of the RTU.
Function parameters in the middle of the block icon are programmed by entering with the
keyboard or by selecting a value from a drop-down list. "RS/SR priority").
Buttons
Creates a new network or deletes the selected network after confirmation of the que-
ry.
Creates a new program block above.
Moves the selected program block up.
