Cable Connections

The host and remote modules are connected by a cable of up to 20 m length.

For operation, the angled cable connector is inserted in the socket of the host
module and locked.

The interconnecting cable must also be fixed in position.

For further details refer to the ”SIMATIC Panel PC 670/870 Control Unit” manual,
Chapter 5.
