If you require an LTOP in conjunction with the MD3 modem in dedicated line mode, only the

LTOP1 variant can be used.

Connecting up the MD3 modem
The following figure shows how to connect the MD3 modem in dedicated line mode. The

LTOP 1 is connected up over the standard cable 6NH7700-3BR60 that ships with the

modem. This cable has RJ-12 Western plugs at both ends.

Note
Please make sure that the S1 switch is set correctly to position 2 as shown in the following

figure.
