Installing the Device

This chapter describes how to install the device, including mounting the device,
connecting power, and connecting the device to the network.
DANGER
Electrocution hazard – risk of serious personal injury and/or damage to
equipment.
Before performing any maintenance tasks, make sure all power to the device has
been disconnected and wait approximately two minutes for any remaining energy
to dissipate.

Use of controls or adjustments or performance of procedures other than those
specified herein may result in hazardous radiation exposure.

This device is compliant with the requirements set forth in FCC 47 CFR, section
1.1307, addressing Radio Frequency (RF) exposure from radio frequency base
stations, as defined in

. The emitted
radiation should be as little as possible. To achieve minimum RF exposure, install the
device when it is configured not to transmit and set it to operational mode remotely,
rather than having a technician enable transmission on-site. For maintenance of the
base station, or other operations which require RF exposure, the exposure should
be minimized in time and according to the regulations set forth by the country of
installation or the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
CAUTION
Burn hazard – risk of personal injury
The surface of the device may be hot during operation, or as a result of the ambient
air temperature.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment and use caution when working
with or around the device.
