Module Replacement

2.3 Module Installation

3. Gently lift the module by its edges until it releases from the connector.

4. Slide the module out of the main inner assembly.

Module Installation

To install a module, do the following:
1. If the new module is not the same as the previous module, replace the faceplate.

For more information, refer to

"Changing Faceplate (Page 26)"

2. Install the desired module.

For more information, refer to

"Installing a Module (Page 27)"

3. If the module is located at the bottom of the device (i.e. slots 2, 4, 6, 8, or 10),

reconnect the main inner assembly to the chassis.

"Installing the Main Inner Assembly (Page 34)"

4. Install the cover.

"Installing the Cover (Page 40)"

5. Reconnect the device.
