Documentation guide

The documentation for the MICRO-DRIVE servo drive system is arranged into three areas. This

arrangement enables you to access the specific content you require.

Basic information

The system manual describes in detail the configuration, installation, wiring and

commissioning of the PDC drive controller. The STEP 7 online help supports you in the

configuration and programming.

Device information

The manual contains a compact description of the device-specific information, such as

properties, interfaces, wiring diagrams, display and operator controls and technical

specifications.

General information

The function manuals contain detailed descriptions on general topics regarding the MICRO-

DRIVE servo drive system and SIMATIC S7-1500 automation system, such as diagnostics,

communication, Motion Control, Web server and OPC UA.
