Problems when booting the device
Problem
Cause
Remedy
After changing the hard disk,
the system does not boot from
the RAID system
RAID system does not have high-
est boot priority
Change the boot priority in the firmware (BIOS) un-
der "Boot > Boot device".

Permit RAID system in the boot priority

Give RAID system top boot priority
After changing the hard disk,
"Unused" is indicated for the
relevant SATA port.
System was booted without func-
tioning drive. The removable tray
might not be fully pushed in.
Reboot the system with a functioning hard disk.
Computer does not boot or
"Boot device not found" is
displayed.
The boot medium is not approved Set the boot priority to "Enabled" in the firmware
(BIOS) under "Boot > Boot device".
The boot device is not in first place
of the boot priority in the BIOS
setup
Change the boot priority in the firmware (BIOS) un-

The boot data storage medium is
set up with GPT, and UEFI boot is
