Automatic switching on of the device
In the BIOS setup, you can specify the behavior of the device when it is disconnected from
the line voltage. The following property is set as default:
●
BIOS setup, "Advanced" menu, "Power Configuration" submenu, setup parameter
"Restore on AC Power Loss" to "Power On".
●
After a power loss during operation, the device will automatically restart when the power
returns.
●
If the device was not in operation, it remains switched off when the power returns.
The line voltage must have failed for at least 20 s for the power failure to be detected and for
this defined action to be executed.
NOTICE
Unintentional reactions at power loss restart
Automatic startup, for example, after a power failure, can result in unintentional reactions of
the machine or plant. This endangers the operation.
Take the BIOS setup entry "Restore on AC Power Loss" into consideration in the plant
planning.
