ET 200iS Distributed I/O Station

If the ET 200iS distributed I/O station will be subjected to higher levels of vibration
and shock, we recommend that you screw the DIN rail to the mounting surface
approximately every 200 mm.

Rules for Installation

During installation, make sure that you keep to the following rules:

•

  The mechanical installation of the ET 200iS begins with the terminal module

TM-PS.

•

  The terminal module TM-PS is followed by the terminal module TM-IM.

•

  These are followed by the terminal modules TM-E.

•

  The ET 200iS is completed by the bus termination module. The bus termination

module is supplied with the terminal module TM-IM.

•

  The maximum configuration of the distributed I/O station ET 200iS is 1 power

supply module, 1 interface module and 32 electronics modules. Make sure that
you do not exceed the maximum current consumption (see section
Configuration Options).
