If you do not select a parameter from the parameter list, the events for high and low threshold
values are assigned the lowest event number available in the event table.

With the RMON function, only MIB variables of the Ethernet interfaces can be monitored.

The threshold value for falling or low variable values should be less than the threshold value
for rising or high variable values.

The events assigned to the alarms are configured.
The Remote monitoring function is started with the
rmon
command.

You delete an alarm with the
no rmon alarm
command.
