Cables and plugs
•
Check visible system cables and plugs for damage.

Check of the POWERPHOS power inverter line
•
Remove the cover of the POWERPHOS.

•
Tighten the contact screws X7 and X9 with a torque of 4.8 Nm.
•
Re-attach the cover and seal with sealing compound.
NOTE
Check the function of the fan before attaching the cover.

•
Reattach the cover.

Compulsory radiation switch off
Test the functioning of the audible warning signal and compulsory radiation switch off (if
required) according to the country-specific regulations. Also perform the following
checks:

Release fluoroscopy for one minute. Use a wristwatch to check the proper functioning
of the fluoroscopic timer.
•
All radiation indicators on the system operating console and monitor trolley must illumi-
nate during fluoroscopy release.

•
Check the function of the radiation release switches (hand and foot switches).
•
Check the radiation release switches for damage.
•
Check the cables of the hand and foot switches for mechanical damage.
•
Move the the cables of the hand and foot switches to check for breaks and short cir-
cuits.
