demanding tasks in the field of PC-based automation. The Panel PC is de-

The SIMATIC Panel PC 670/870 is available in two configurations:

rating unit spatially separated, refer to Chapter 5).

The present equipment manual describes

Chapters 2 to 4 basically describe the specific characteristics of the
operating unit, but also make reference to the complete unit where ne-
cessary – for example, with regard to the dimensions for mounting,
maintenance and technical specifications.
