Response Timer
The
Response Timer
resp.
Call trans
timer is started whenever the phone sends a new IN-
VITE message to the SIP server.
If the call transaction timer expires before the phone gets a response from the SIP server, the
phone assumes that the server had died and then attempts to contact the backup server, if con-
figured. If there is no backup server configured, the phone just tidies up internally.
The data is given in milliseconds. The default value is 32 000; for OpenScape Voice, the rec-
ommended setting is 3.7 seconds (3700 ms).
