4.13 Select Pressure Unit
A desired pressure unit can be selected from a supply of defined units with this func-
tion (see also Figure 15, p. 91).
4.14 Display/Bargraph
This can be used to switch on the "Bargraph" function which is displayed in alterna-
tion with the unit display. The "Bargraph" function is switched off in the factory setting.
4.15 Sensor Correction
With the sensor correction it is possible to adjust the transmitter characteristic at two
correction points. The results are then correct measured values at the correction
points. The correction points are freely selectable within the rated range.
Application examples:
1. In the non-turned down device (e.g. 63 bar) the typical measured value is at 50
bar. To achieve the greatest possible accuracy for this value, the upper sensor
correction can be made at 50 bar.
2. A 63 bar transmitter is turned down to 4 to 7 bar. The greatest possible accuracy
is achieved when the lower sensor correction point is selected at 4 bar and the
upper one at 7 bar.
NOTE
The pressure unit can be set separately for the display and the HART®
communication.
NOTE
Devices not turned down at the factory are corrected at 0 bar and the upper rated
range limit. Devices turned down at the factory are corrected at the lower and
upper limit of the set measuring range.
