The operating data must match the values specified on the rating plate. The trans-
mitter is in operation when the auxiliary power is switched on.
The commissioning cases described below are typical examples. Different types of
commissioning may be possible depending on the system configuration.
WARNING
For intrinsically safe circuits, only certified current measuring devices that are suit-
able for the transmtter may be used.
In areas with a potential explosion hazard, the housing cover of transmitters with
the type of protection "explosion-proof" may only be unscrewed when the device is
not energized. If transmitters are to be used as category 1 / 2 equipment, please
observe the examination certificates bzw. die für Ihr Land gültige Prüfbescheini-
gung.
The following applies for devices with the common admission "intrinsic safety" and
"explosion-proof" type of protection (EEx ia and EEx d). The inapplicable type of
protection must be permanently erased from the rating plate before putting into
operation.
"Intrinsic safety" type of protection is no longer guaranteed in the case of an
improper power supply.
