Adjusting the start of scale and full scale
If the output current is not set but continuously adjusted, a DC ammeter is required.
In addition the currents to be adjusted must be calculated mathematically (Chapter
3.1.2, p. 83). An adjustment can be made for the start of scale, full scale or both val-
ues one after the other.
Preparations:
1. Clean the housing so that no dirt can penetrate.
2. Unscrew the front cover (Figure 2, p. 75), remove the digital indicator (if fitted).

3. Connect the DC ammeter to the test plug (Figure 22, p. 107).

WARNING
Only certified, zum Messumformer passende, ammeters may be used in intrinsi-
cally safe circuits.
In areas with a potential explosion hazard, the housing cover of transmitters with
the type of protection "explosion-proof" may only be unscrewed when the device is
not energized. If transmitters are to be used as category 1 / 2 equipment, please
observe the EC examination certificates bzw. die für Ihr Land gültige Prüfbeschei-
