3.1.2.2 Practical Application
Setting start of scale and full scale
Conditions: Unscrew the front cover (Figure 2, p. 75) a, remove the digital indicator
(if fitted) (see also Chapter 3.1, p. 81).
The SITRANS P MS transmitter sets the output current for the start of scale to 4 mA
and the full scale to 20 mA if the operating buttons are actuated according to the fol-
lowing instructions.
• Set start of scale
• Set full scale
After completing this work:
1. Install the digital indicator.
2. Screw in the housing cover.
NOTE
1. The operating pushbuttons can be disabled! See Chapter 4.11, p. 96.
2. It is recommended to connect an ammeter to check the current to be adjusted.
